I sexed up my Converse sneakers at Schuh
As the London 2012 Games kick off in the capital, the shoe is on Oxford Street and offers the ability to customize Converse as part of the summer campaign, Represent.
Now the team Fashion Magazine - Fashion Director Karen Buglass, Sprowson Jade, stylist and I - were just above the queue.
Once you have chosen and paid for your pair of Converse, head to adjust bar where laces are absolutely free, beginning at 50p bolts and more complex designs are £ 10 to £ 25.
Add a personal touch to your chucks, or go all out and print from over 300 models on one heel, heel, or on both sides of your shoes.
I took a particularly snazzy pair of leopard Hi-Tops, so obviously I was not an all-over print, because it would the shoe were overloaded.
Instead, I opted for cool spike studs on the back of Converse and swapped the white laces for normal black with silver tips.
I can not wait to road test it this weekend - hopefully hold together with denim hot pants when the weather is hot!
Karen decided to rock-steady and riveting Jade chose a melon pattern of London-inspired, but you can choose from a wide selection of spikes, stars, clear advice, money advice and hundreds of fantastic models.
If you're a purist like Style Editor Alison Tay and prefer to leave intact your coach, you can still participate in the representation, through the series of nine free concerts with performances by Nas, Blur, Paul Weller, Plan B and hosted by Converse London legendary 100 Club.
